A specialised service is provided at London Bridge Hospital and 31 Old Broad Street for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of painful shoulder disorders, shoulder injuries and fractures. Not only is there access to a specialist shoulder surgeon, but also investigations such as X-ray, MRI and ultrasound scans can be arranged with the minimum of delay.
Treatments are available including physiotherapy, shoulder injections and shoulder surgery, such as arthroscopic “keyhole” shoulder operations to treat painful and unstable shoulders, frozen shoulder and shoulder replacements for arthritis.
