Low Cost Dedicated MRI System for Extremity Imaging
ONI's high-field dedicated MSK Extreme with v-SPEC, the world's only high field, truly open MRI system dedicated to extremity imaging, was first made available to the medical community, and the general public, in March 2002. This system provides consistently reliable, high image quality scanning of the hand, wrist, elbow, foot, ankle and knee. The ONI MSK Extreme with v-SPEC design, high field performance, and low cost has lead to system placements alongside other whole body MRI units in hospitals and imaging centers to reduce patient backlog, and, in orthopedic offices for fast, high quality diagnostics and patient convenience. The ONI systems address many of the needs for orthopedic MRI diagnostics in a compact, high resolution, user and patient friendly unit.
